Holiday w/ Girlfriends - PART 2

It's been sooo long that i partly forgot the detail of the last vacation i had last feb...well dont blame me, it's been almost a year, and my brain isnt exactly as sharp as it used to be, i guess, LOL
Anyhow, on Sunday, Tasia and I decided that we would visit Melacca, turned out to be rather crazy visit after all!!!. I was rather reluctant to be honest, considering that we woke up pretty late, and only got 10am bus to Melacca. We continued our journey however, we got there by 2pm, and while at the bus station we tried to get the return ticket to Sin...well well guess what, since it's sunday, all the ticket back to Sin was sold out!
We then bought ticket to Johor Bahru and tried our luck to get to Sin, since it's closer. Settled, we hopped onto to a bus that would go directly to Jonker street. Along the way you would see beautiful preserved old buildings, very nice. After paying for like 2 RM, we hopped down in front of the Christchurch of Melacca...really pretty. Taking some pic of the church, the stadhuys, then we walked to Jonker Street just across from Stadhuys. We asked to a guy that sold Melacca tofu on where to eat the famous Chicken Rice balls, he showed us a small warung just across the street from where he was standing. We went there, seated, and order half portion of chicken, 2 portion of rice balls and 2 ice tea...wohoo it was really really really delicous...yum yumm...i wouldnt mind going back to Melacca and have another portion of those yummy chicken!!
Lunch finished, we strolled along Jonker street to see some beautiful buildings, crafts, etc...When you have more time you could walk leisurely, but since we need to catch our 6pm bus to Johor Bahru, we then left Jonker street and head to a shopping mall nearby. We got ourselves nice watches fr Vincci, and then stopped a bus just behind the shopping mall to get back to bus terminal.
It took only few minutes to get to bus terminal, and while waiting, we bought some hainan chicken rice, thinking that we would eat that inside the bus, since we will pass dinner time on the bus...getting into the bus, well the bus was quite ugly, and the smell of the chicken was too strong, we didnt dare to open it. Instead we were sleeping, miserably, in the bus...it was very slooooowww....oh my god, i felt like screaming, we got to Johor Bahru by midnite, and the latest bus to Sin was like MIDNITE!...so we ran looking for the bus to sin, got into the line, and thanks God, we can use our Ezylink. Pas midnite we crossed the immigration, walking so fast since we didnt want the bus leaving without us.
Finally, after passport chop...waiting inline for the bus..we sat peacefully, and to tell you the truth, i was only counting on my instinct on the bus direction, since my travel mate was more confused than i was. Finally i asked the guy sitting behind me, and he showed me where to stop, and he explained that from the bus halte, our hostel was only a walking distance.
There we were, by 1am MIDNITE, we walked from bus halte in Simlim finding our hostel in Bugis, and thankfully we got there in 1 piece. Stopping by to get Hot Tarik tea near the hostel, we laughed our way to our room....what an adventurous day.
Will post some pics and continue my story on the next post....am so sleepy, need to hit my comfy bed asap...as in NOW...ciaoo
